Digital Tours
Digital Tours coming soon!
The 1857 Police Riot walking tour and the Women’s House of Detention walking tour are the two offerings that participants of the YPHI envisioned and co-created together as part of this program. Digitized by Chase Louden, these tours explore sites in lower Manhattan that were central to the stories of New Yorkers experiencing and resisting the impact of police and prisons.
Padlet
The padlet is a compilation of daily readings and pedagogical materials that appear in the curriculum, as well as additional resources about local events, walking tours, podcasts, and books that came up in discussion.
The evaluation summary is based on the surveys and evaluations completed by YPHI participants at the onset and conclusion of the program. It offers an overview of the participants’ key takeaways and learning outcomes.
